At Microstaff IT, we believe that most organizations use only a fraction of the computing power and functionality available to them. They also enjoy only a fraction of the reliability and security that their systems are capable of.

Organizations are better prepared than ever to be moderately to fully self supporting on most general IT issues. Their staffs are more experienced and better trained on the technologies of the day than they have been since the advent of client server and network computing. Rather than monumental paradigm shifts, we are now in an age of incremental improvement.

While the general level of technical expertise across the industry is good, very few people achieve expert status, even in the small world of technologies directly relevant to them and their organization.

We consistently see systems in organizations under-utilized, running at below peak efficiency or below peak reliability because staff is not aware of all of the functionality they own, or is not comfortable straying far from default settings and installations. As the products organizations use become more complex and feature rich, it takes more expertise to get optimal utilization out of them. Default or base settings often compromise functionality, performance, or security for the sake of simplicity. This is wasteful at best, dangerous at worst.

Our goal is to provide a wide variety of educational opportunities to professional IT staff so that they are prepared to help their organizations perform at the highest levels with the technology they already own or are planning to implement. It is not unreasonable to assume that if an IT organization allocates 2%-5% of its annual budget to ongoing training and staff development, that investment will return an improvement in security, reliability, and functionality of at least 10%-15%, often much more.

At MicroStaff IT we can offer traditional instructor led vendor authorized courses, online live instructor led courses for students unable to travel, and custom seminars for advanced IT staff that need to focus in on a particular area. We have a large pool of extremely qualified instructors to draw from and will work diligently to ensure that the education you receive is right for you.
